This example from 2006 for a new home we designed is located in Central Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. The
right side is for the In-Laws and sports 1600 sq.ft. with a 16 foot high ceiling throughout of the Custom built 3750
sq.ft. design. The layout included many extras, created specifically while working directly with the owner. A unique
shared residence split for a distinct area with a two floor 4 bedroom area for a family of 5 living on one side
and a 3 bedroom rancher style area for the parents of Mrs.
Features include a barrel vaulted living room or salon
space, an 11' drop ceiling feature over the dining room, and a huge family room area with attached kitchen and nook space.
The Family side boasts a 16ft ceiling over the great room with a back to back fireplace leading to the large covered
linai on the South side of the building. A final bonus is the large 2 car garage with mezzanine storage. Maybe a future
game room?
